At the time of writing – there are no official Government instructions outlining actions that Companies should take to protect both their staff and customers

Notwithstanding this – we have already put certain voluntary actions in place, namely

  • Increased official Government “Health Aware” signage in our offices and warehouse
  • Installation of hand sanitising units in our offices and warehouse
  • Staff training on hand washing, facial hygiene, and material handling
  • Staff are instructed to contact NHS 111 immediately if they suspect they may have contracted the virus and to notify the Company and to immediately self isolate if so instructed by NHS 111

  • All employed drivers have been issued with “single use” latex gloves and/or alcohol based hand sanitiser which should be used both before and after visiting a customers’ premises
  • All employed drivers have been asked to maintain a minimum 2m separation between themselves and customers
  • Where possible – we are asking customers to leave packages for collection in a convenient, isolated place, requiring no contact with the driver if at all possible

We will continue to monitor and adapt to any upcoming Government or Industry advice
